DS Smith Expand and Enhance their Workspace

Congratulations are definitely in order for licensee DS Smith packaging, who last week moved into their new, improved and expanded office space here at Basepoint Chepstow.
DS Smith, a European leading packaging company of customer-specific packaging, took up residence in the centre in 2014 initially in a 3 person office. However, this summer the company decided to expand their space here and reconfigure an area on the first floor to better suit their needs.
It’s fair to say the transformation of the space has been incredible. As well as an open plan office area, they now have their own private boardroom with video conference capability, kitchenette with break out area and three private offices with outstanding views over the Severn Bridge and Severn Estuary. The contemporary and stylish workplace is flooded with light thanks to an abundance of large windows, coupled with beautiful glass partitions elegantly dividing the space. The areas are zoned perfectly using various types of flooring, including wooden floors in the kitchen area and a variety of carpets throughout, in DS Smith brand colours.
Finishing touches are in abundance with artwork, furniture and company branded items all completing the look, coupled with a flash of bright and cheerful ‘D S Smith Orange’ on a feature wall.
DS Smith are delighted with what’s been achieved and are very excited to being work in their new office. Making use of the new space, they’ve already begun expanding their Chepstow-based team. We’re thrilled for the company and wish them the very best of luck in their new home here at Basepoint Chepstow.
