The key speakers at the event were Sam Ingram of Sussex Downs College, who gave a presentation on apprenticeships, and Kevin Horlock of Dale Carnegie, who discussed the reasons behind networking and tips on how to achieve the best results.
Basepoint High Wycombe will be hosting an open day on Thursday 16th February to give local businesses the opportunity to come and see the centre’s facilities.
The centre, which opened in 1999, has provided office and workshop space for well over 500 companies, with one of their most recent licensees, Apollo Fitness, renting out four units to create a fully equipped gym, demonstrating the centre’s diversity
A once in a lifetime opportunity has been handed to Frank O Brien, maintenance man at Basepoint Southampton, after he was accepted to be among the first members of the public to experience the new Olympic Stadium.
Frank was over the moon when he discovered he was one of 5000 successful applicants chosen to take part in The National Lottery Olympic Park Run.
The five mile course will pass several Olympic venues, such as the Velodrome and Aquatics Centre, with the finish line on the athletics track at the newly built stadium for next year’s games.
