Basepoint Tewkesbury has long been a business sponsor supporter of the Roses Theatre. Bosses at The Roses say it has a bright future with visitor numbers up after its £1million revamp a year ago. The venue in Sun Street, Tewkesbury, underwent a major overhaul and officials say it has paid off.Head of marketing Caroline Lawrence said: "A whole year on, final small adjustments are still being made, but the newly refurbished building, with all of its new facilities, has firmly established itself as one of the most vital organisations in Tewkesbury.
The famous Tewkesbury Mop Fair is the largest street fair in Gloucestershire with fun fair, fairground rides, traditional games, sideshows, stalls and attractions in Tewkesbury town centre. Fair opens from 6.30pm
The Tewkesbury Mop Fair dates back to 12th century when farm hands, labourers, servants and craftsmen looking for work, would take along a piece of equipment to represent their trade. Those with no specific skills would carry a mop head to signify they were free for work, hoping a prospective employer would spot them in the crowds.

It’s been a busy week in the SmartSurvey office! The team were invited to visit the British Embassy in Prague to showcase their products at the British-Czech Smart Data conference. They also attended the Cotswold Life Business Awards lunch to accept an award, plus they announced that they were winners in the Corporate Vision 2016 Technology Awards for Best International SaaS Provider 2016 – UK. Phew – all in a week’s work! As you can see, it’s a busy time at SmartSurvey headquarters and they are on the lookout for talented people to join their team.
