Basepoint Gosport donates money to local charity pot
The Basepoint operated Gosport Business Centre is delighted to announce that it has donated £536 to its chosen charity, the Gosport and District Sports Association for the Disabled (GADSAD), which was match funded by Basepoint’s parent company, The ACT Foundation.
The aim of GADSAD is to provide social and sporting activities to disabled people living in the local area. The charity provides their members with the opportunity to socialise with others in similar situations and participate in a wide variety of sports and games.
Andrew Weston, centre manager for Gosport Business Centre, comments: “We hope this donation helps GADSAD continue their amazing work with disabled people in the area, and we look forward to continuing our fundraising efforts with GADSAD in the New Year.”
Denise Starkie, secretary of GADSAD, adds: “We are extremely grateful to the Gosport Business Centre for this kind donation. It will help enable us to install solar panels in our new hall, which will help reduce our energy bills and also fund the redecoration of our old hall.”
