SMEs in Dorset receive top marketing tips at recent Networking Hub
Basepoint Bournemouth recently held a Networking Hub at its centre for local businesses to network, meet new people, generate new business leads, and also listen to guest speakers.
Event speakers were Emma James from ‘Tasty Marketing’ who spoke about the benefits of marketing and demonstrated her ‘one page marketing plan’ – a guide to help small businesses analyse and review marketing activity. Tips included looking at target audiences, key messages, and tools to reach them. Also speaking was Mandy Payne, Vice President of the Bournemouth Chamber of Trade and Commerce, who spoke about what the organisation does to support the business community, such as their links with the local council.
Karl Fuller, Centre Manager at Basepoint Bournemouth, commented: “The Networking Hub was a great success this month, with more than 50 attendees in attendance. We’re especially grateful to our two guest speakers who each provided a great insight into the world of business. We hope everyone found their advice informative and useful.”
