Basepoint Evesham opened by Ruth Badger
Basepoint Evesham was officially opened in front of a large invited audience on Friday 2 October by Ruth Badger, star of The Apprentice show and subsequently a successful broadcaster and business woman.
As part of the occasion a number of centre licensees set up stalls on the 7.000 sq ft top floor to showcase their products and services to the many guests from local government, business support organisations and charities, as well as Basepoint staff, licensees and contractors. Ruth Badger, who attended in her capacity as a keen supporter of local charity the Noah’s Ark Trust, which has been adopted by Basepoint Evesham as its partner charity, gave a stirring speech describing her own route to success and giving some tips to the audience on how small businesses can survive and prosper in the current business environment. Ruth launched the Ruth Badger Consultancy in 2006 and now provides business advice to a wide range of multinational companies, as well as being in demand as a motivational speaker. The opening ceremony ended with Ruth cutting a ribbon to officially open the centre followed by champagne and canapés.
