Canterbury Innovation Centre
Following on from Gosport Business Centre, Hastings Innovation Centre, Newhaven Enterprise Centre and The Joiners Shop in the Chatham Historic Dockyard, Basepoint Developments has now successfully completed the delivery of its fifth public sector funded managed workspace project, Canterbury Innovation Centre.
CiC is situated on the campus of The University of Kent in Canterbury and will be operated by Basepoint Centres on behalf of the East Kent Spatial Development Company. Tenants start moving in from Monday 9th November. The centre provides more than 80 flexible business units for SMEs and Business Start Ups primarily from the science and technology sectors. CiC has received BREEAM ‘Excellent’ accreditation as did Newhaven. BDL is now working up a detailed planning application for a further managed workspace scheme in Dartford.
