Chinese Entrepreneurs & Politicians visit Newhaven
A group of young Chinese entrepreneurs and politicians are visiting east Sussex this week. On Monday they were hosted by Lewes District Council who took them to visit Newhaven.
After a tour of the historic fort and a trip around the port and marina, they visited Basepoint’s Newhaven Enterprise Centre for a presentation on the town and it’s regeneration from John Crawford, Chief Executive of the council. This was followed by a presentation on the Centre and a tour of the offices and workshops where they met a range of local business people. The picture shows the Chinese group along with Claire Murray, Centre Manager, John Crawford, Lewes District Council Chief Executive and other members of council staff and local councillors.
