Record Breaking Year For New Companies Being Founded

In 2014 the UK saw entrepreneurs set up a record number of new businesses.

Research by StartUp Britain shows that over 581,000 companies were registered with Companies House throughout the year; more than one a minute. This beats the previous all-time high of 526,446 in 2013, up from 484,224 start-ups formed in 2012.
