Basepoint Crawley support Macmillan in ‘World’s Biggest Coffee Morning’
Basepoint Business Centre Crawley hosted a Coffee Morning on Friday 24th of September as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee morning raising nearly £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
The event was well attended by Basepoint tenants and members who enjoyed coffee and home-baked cakes for a small donation. There was a raffle for a bottle of Champagne kindly donated by Sharr Banks of Envirobusiness, and second prize of a bottle of Sparkling Wine from local vineyard Denbies donated by Jeremy Taylor of Cadia. In total the event and the raffle raised £197.67, and the money was presented by Centre Manager Rebecca Gattinesi and Assistant Manager Caroline Whitehouse to Simon Drury of the Olive Tree, a local cancer charity supported by Macmillan. At the morning Simon presented information on the services available at the Olive Tree to support businesses affected by cancer.
