Mayor of Swindon to unveil ten year anniversary plaque at Basepoint
Basepoint Swindon has invited Councillor Teresa Page, the Mayor of Swindon, to unveil a commemorative plaque on Wednesday 4th February at noon, celebrating a decade of providing exceptional office space for SMEs.
Following the unveiling of the plaque, Basepoint will be hosting a free, public networking event with lunch, tea and coffee provided, as well as a few surprise giveaways.
Lyn Chapman, Basepoint Swindon’s centre manager, comments: “We are delighted to welcome Councillor Teresa Page to mark this special occasion. Throughout these ten years, we have opened our doors to SMEs from a variety of different sectors, and played host to lots of fun networking events with interesting speakers, who have given helpful advice. There have been a lot of memorable moments, but a personal highlight of mine was in 2010, when I received the Basepoint ‘Employee of the Year’ award.”
