Success at joint Networking Hub
The Old Rectory Business Centre, Northfleet, and The Base, Dartford, recently held their first quarterly networking event, The Networking Hub, which attracted approximately 50 business individuals. The Basepoint operated centres joined forces to provide licensees and local businesses the opportunity to network, meet new people, generate new business, and listen to guest speakers – all for free.
Michelle Gagie, centre manager at The Old Rectory, comments: “We have been supporting The Arrow Riding Centre for a few years now, but it is now time for us to move on and help a new charity in need of fundraising and support. We raised the money by hosting various raffles, book sales, charity car washes, curry and quiz nights, and many other centre activities involving the licensees and staff! We wish The Arrow Riding Centre every bit of success in the future with the amazing work they do in the local community, and hope our final donation makes a difference.”
Basepoint Business Centres, who specialise in the development and operation of flexible business, innovation and enterprise centres, is owned by The ACT Foundation, a leading UK grant-making charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life of those in need. As such, each centre is dedicated to fundraising for a selected charity and The ACT Foundation match funds any money raised by the chosen charity, up to the value of £10,000 per centre.
