A ‘Dragon’ at The Base, Dartford
Theo Paphitis, Chairman of the Ryman Group and one of the ‘Dragons’ from Dragon’s Den arrived at The Base, Dartford on 29th November 2011 for the official opening of a new licensee at The Base - Ryman Football League offices.
Following the opening of their offices, Theo joined our coffee morning and chatted with licensees who run their small businesses out of the Centre about the benefits of being at a Basepoint Centre. He spent time signing autographs and there were plenty of photo opportunities. He discussed Small Business Sunday (SBS) a competition that he runs for ‘bedroom business’ and said if he re tweets their business ideas licensees will have 3,000 small businesses see this which hopefully would be the beginning of new followers on Twitter. It was an extremely eventful morning and staff at The Base hope that Theo will return to officially ‘open’ The Base next year!! @TheoPaphitis to follow Theo on Twitter.
