Smart Survey Win Business Award
Now in their 4th year the Cotswold Life Family Business Awards celebrate family run companies and the unique contribution they make to the Cotswold economy. This year one of our licensees Smart Survey Limited won the Family Business Long Service Award. Smart Survey have been at Basepoint Tewkesbury for the last 5 years and have been established almost 15 years.
As businesses get bigger to meet increasingly global competition, you might think family businesses are in decline, but we can find no evidence of this again this year as our list of Cotswold family businesses continues getting longer. We invited an expert jury of
Cotswold professionals to identify the best family businesses and recognise the role they
play in the backbone of the British economy, which supports 9.2 million jobs and
contributes almost a quarter of Britain’s total GDP.
This year we increased the number of categories and also launched some new ones. Entry numbers were the highest we have ever had and at the judging meeting, we debated long and hard on the final outcome, with one category so tough judges decided upon two winners.
We are delighted to announce our 2016 winners below who will be featured in our
September issue and look forward to celebrating with them at the Family Business Awards winner’s presentation lunch in early September.
