This week we held an event on Tuesday evening with Shéa Bennett, Head of Digital Marketing at Identity Group, as guest speaker talking about Social Media Marketing for SMEs
Identity Group specialises in the manufacture and implementation of corporate branding and has over 30 years’ experience in the industry.
Shéa has more than a decade’s worth of experience in digital, including social media and email marketing, cost per click (CPC), e-commerce, user experience (UX) and lead generation. He writes a monthly column on digital marketing for Platinum Business magazine and is a regular on the speaking circuit.
Shéa talked to us about smart businesses no longer being able to afford to opt out of social media marketing, with digital platforms such as Facebook now essential for brand awareness, customer outreach and lead generation. In his presentation, Shéa talked us through the latest trends, statistics and tools in social media marketing and he gave us actionable takeaways and top tips.
It was a super evening, with wine and canapés, and some of our Licensees were still talking about his ideas and suggestions the next morning!
