Newhaven Enterprise Centre Supports Global Entrepreneurship Week 2016
As part of a series of events held throughout the week Newhaven Enterprise Centre hosted a fantastic networking event for businesses on Thursday the 17th November.
Attendees at the Newhaven event were given the chance to network with local entrepreneurs alongside a range of workshops and guest speakers. Chris Limberger of Pro-Actions gave an informative talk on the business sales cycle followed by an inspirational talk from local company Fundraising Auctions, who specialise in silent and interactive auctions and help raise money for charities. Andrew Abaza of Action Coach was in attendance to host a workshop on 5 actions you can take away and use immediately to improve the profitability of your business alongside the LEAP Entrepreneurship Programme who offered a workshop on planning.
Abigail Burgess, Basepoint Newhaven Centre Manager, commented, “We hope that everyone who attended the event found it beneficial and will have learnt something they can use to improve their business or have the inspiration to take that first step into starting a business.”
Following a successful partnership with Global Entrepreneurship Week in 2015, which saw Basepoint Centres Limited receive a High Impact Award, this November Basepoint once again partnered with GEW UK to host free events across all of their 31 locations in the south of the UK, Midlands, East Anglia and Wales.
