The Festivities Begin At Basepoint Tilbury
The Christmas spirit is alive and well at the Riverside Business Centre.
This week staff at the Riverside Business Centre have pulled out the Christmas decorations in order to get Licensees in the festive spirit. Many have stopped to admire the tree, which has pride of place in Reception.
Tammina Gilbert, Centre Manager, has also arranged for a collection with the aim of donating all received goods to a local charity. Changing Pathways (formerly known as Basildon Women’s Aid) is a domestic abuse charity working across the areas of Basildon, Brentwood, Castle Point, Rochford and Thurrock. They provide free and confidential services to support people who are currently experiencing, or have previously experienced domestic abuse. They offer refuge accomodation, community support and counselling amongst other valuable services.
The collection drive has been well received throughout the centre so far with pajama sets, toys, winter clothing and toiletry sets being donated. This will continue until Thursday 15th December when the hamper(s) will be taken to their base in Basildon.
If you would like to contribute, please bring any suitable items to Reception prior to 15th December.
