It is Christmas Jumper Day again and this year you and Team Basepoint Evesham can donate £2 by text.
By raising money for Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day, you and your mates will be helping to give the world’s forgotten children a brighter future. You’ll be helping to sort out real matters of life and death – big issues like global inequality, poverty and hunger. And you’ll be doing all this while wearing a very silly sweater. And possibly a pair of homemade reindeer antlers. You wonderful, daft thing, you.
You won’t believe your mince pies when you see how much your pennies and pounds could help to provide.
It gives children from all over the World access to after school clubs which help to educate them about the dangers of child marriage.
It could also help us bring essentials like healthcare, education, protection and food to the millions of children around the world who are missing out on the most basic support.
Every year, millions of children around the world die before their fifth birthday from easily preventable diseases like malaria, diarrhoea and pneumonia.
Many more are forgotten simply because they were born in the wrong place, or because they are girls, refugees, disabled or from a minority.
We won’t rest until every last child gets the chance to grow up healthy and happy. Your support will help us achieve our goal. We will of course be serving a free Festive Feast in the breakout as a token of our appreciation.
