Fred Dinenage Presents Award to Blooming Marvellous Business Centre
Tight budgets meant it was actually touch and go as to whether this year’s Gosport & Lee-on-the-Solent in Bloom competition would take place. Councillor Graham Burgess, Chairman of the Community Board at Gosport Borough Council said, “We had some fantastic entries, fewer than last year, but nevertheless a lot of new people taking part which was very nice to see.”

On Friday 4th November, Basepoint Southampton is hosting a free networking event; ‘The Networking Hub,’ which is open to Basepoint licensees and local businesses. The event will provide the opportunity to network, meet new people, and generate new business – and also includes two expert speakers providing advice on best practice guides.
Basepoint Ipswich wins Exceptional Corporate Volunteering award
Basepoint Ipswich has recently won the award for Exceptional Corporate Volunteering at the Out And About Trust awards. Basepoint Ipswich was presented with a certificate for their outstanding support in fundraising for Out And About, a charity which enables disabled children and young people to access every day leisure activities throughout the east of England. These events have ranged from firewalking to skydiving, along with Zumba-thons, Christmas fayre’s and quiz nights.
Local businesses benefit from free networking event at Basepoint Andover
Basepoint Andover recently hosted its free networking event, ‘The Networking Hub,’ which was a great success with over 25 people from local businesses in attendance, taking the opportunity to network, meet new people, generate new business – and listen to guest speakers.
