Great South Run 2009

Della Parker, Centre Manager at Havant took part in the 10 Mile Great South Run in Portsmouth on behalf of their chosen charity ‘Kids’. Della completed the run in 2hrs and 3mins and raised £600 in sponsorship which will be match funded by Basepoint. Thank you to all for your kind donation and support.

Licensees move into Canterbury Innovation Centre

Canterbury Innovation Centre opened its doors 9th November 2009 and has already attracted a variety of businesses that fit the innovation and technology criteria. The centre is set to reach 35% by the end of the year, a huge achievement considering the current economic climate. Jo Clarke Centre Manager has welcomed an array of businesses to the centre and looks forward to the continued growth of the business community.

Karen Williams joins Canterbury Innovation Centre as Assistant Manager

Basepoint Business Centres welcome Karen Williams to assist Jo Clarke at the soon to open Canterbury Innovation Centre. Karen comes from an administrative background as well as setting up her own business. Karen said she is delighted to join the team at Canterbury and looks forward to supporting the licensees within the centre and welcoming new businesses in this state of the art Centre (Karen on the left; Jo Clark Centre Manager on the right)

Andover Mind Cheque Presentation

Basepoint Andover recently presented a cheque to Andover Mind on behalf of The ACT Foundation. Folkestone’s Charity Glasswalk/Firewalk

The Glasswalk/Firewalk was great success at Folkestone on the 28 October, 2009. The Glasswalkers – Lorraine, Folkestone’s Centre Manager included, walked slowly and surely across the glass and were happy to come away from the event with their feet intact. Whereby the Firewalkers all were on a high having conquered the fire!
