Basepoint Business Centres is proud to announce that it has raised approximately £5,300 for Sports Relief, with match-funding from The ACT Foundation bringing the total amount to £10,600. All of its 30 centres were set the challenge to statically cycle on spinner bikes from one centre to the next until they completed the full circle of its locations across the south of the UK, Midlands, East Anglia and Wales.
Here at Basepoint we are joining forces across our centres to raise over £1,600 for Sport Relief 2014. Each centre will be challenged to cycle using static bikes the distance between their centre and another. The event will take place from 17th - 21st March.
Lewes District Council has successfully led a team that has been awarded £1.9 million by the Big Lottery Fund to implement an exciting new scheme that will create jobs and enhance the skills of local people. The “Newhaven Growth Quarter” initiative has been developed with a view to creating and sustaining local jobs for local people and to act as a catalyst for growing clean technologies in Newhaven and surrounding area.
