Basepoint Bournemouth Celebrate St George’s Day

Basepoint Bournemouth hosted a St George’s Day event for their licencees last week; red & white bunting and flags adorned the Reception area. Carly & Rosemary chose to host a traditional English Fayre ‘bonanza’ for their clients, with food such as Egg sandwiches, Cheese & Pineapple on sticks, and Jam Tarts; along with allowing their tenants to show their competitive nature with games such as Giant (Velcro) Darts, Inflatable Bowling, and Quoits. Rosemary also prepared a St Georges Day quiz, with a prize going to the winner of each of the competitions.

Alistair Darling pays Luton Innovation Centre an unexpected visit

22nd April: Attendees and speakers at the University of Bedfordshire’s Innovation Day hosted by the Butterfield Enterprise Hub at Basepoint Innovation Centre in Luton, were taking by surprise yesterday when Alistair Darling, the Chancellor of the Exchequer, paid them an unexpected visit.

Rebecca runs the distance for Outreach in Brighton Marathon

Centre Manager Rebecca Gattinesi from Basepoint Crawley was amongst the 7,500 runners to take part in the first ever Brighton Marathon on Sunday the 18th April raising money for Outreach 3-Way. The course took in the best of the city centre and coastal roads and finished in Madeira Drive close to the famous Brighton Pier and was lined by thousands of cheering spectators.
