Basepoint Runners complete London Marathon

Five runners wearing shirts supplied by Basepoint Gosport completed the Virgin London Marathon on Sunday 25th April 2010. The five runners were all running to help raise funds for the Rainbow Centre which is also supported by Gosport Business Centre through the match funding scheme set up with The ACT Foundation.

Flipping all day for the Rainbow Centre

Andrew Weston from Gosport Business Centre and Julie Woodward from the Rainbow Centre tuck into burgers during the annual Fete held in glorious sunshine on Saturday 24th April 2010. With a Fairytale theme for the day, there was not a cloud in the sky as numerous stalls and fairground rides had a wonderful time fundraising for the Rainbow Centre which is a specialist conductive education centre for people who suffer from cerebral palsy, Parkinsons, MS and they also help people recovering from strokes.

Folkestone Prize for Business Card Draw at Kent 2020

Each Centre attending the exhibition at the recent Kent 2020 provided a prize relevant to their area. Basepoint Folkestone offered a £60 voucher for Eurotunnel, Chatham offered a family ticket to the Historic Dockyard, Basepoint Northfleet also offered an Eurostar Voucher and Canterbury gave 2 tickets to the University Gulbenkin Theatre. Lorraine presented the £60 Eurotunnel voucher to Jacquie Bartlett of ABC Health and Safety at Basepoint Folkestone, who was one of many enquirers at the stand at the successful Kent 2020 exhibition and conference on 22 April, 2010.

Hundreds of schools take part in sunflower growing extravaganza

As part of their “join us and grow” campaign, Basepoint Business Centres Ltd are joining forces with almost 200 schools across Southern England and the Midlands, encouraging children to grow sunflowers for the chance to win a share of £7,000 worth of vouchers for books and IT equipment.
