Basepoint Business Centres is delighted to announce that it has been retained to manage The Riverside Business Centre in Tilbury, beating stiff competition following a tender for the contract.
Local businesses are invited to ‘The Networking Hub’, a free business event on Tuesday 26th June at Basepoint Winchester. The event aims to provide individuals with the opportunity to listen to expert speakers as well as network, meet new people and generate new business.
Andrew Weston, the Centre Manager of the Basepoint operated Gosport Business Centre recently completed his training as a New Enterprise Mentor with Enterprise First.
The new voluntary role will involve Andrew connecting with mentees who are starting out on their new business paths under the New Enterprise Allowance Scheme which is aimed at helping Job Centre Plus (JCP) clients start a business.

Basepoint Business Centres, who specialise in the development and operation of flexible business, innovation and enterprise centres, is owned by The ACT Foundation, a leading UK grant-making charity, dedicated to improving the quality of life of those in need. As such, each centre is dedicated to fundraising for a selected charity and The ACT Foundation match funds any money raised by the chosen charity, up to the value of £10,000 per centre.
Brian Caswell, proprietor of Clarity Assessment Specialist, held a coffee and cake morning at Basepoint Swindon on the 8th June to raise funds for The Prostate Cancer Charity and also to raise awareness about the 128 mile cycle ride he will be doing on their behalf this weekend.
