Residents at the Basepoint Business Centre in Folkestone were only too happy to come into the office on a Saturday morning in order to sample the tasty charity breakfast menu on offer at fellow licensee Michelino’s Café, and at the same time help raise £622 for Cancer Research.

Basepoint Bounemouth Donate £10,000 To Portfield School

Basepoint Bournemouth has handed over a cheque to the pupils of Portfield School to the sum of £10,000. The funds came directly from the company's profits as a matched fund for the £10,000 raised by the Wessex Autistic Society specifically for heating and cooling systmes at the modern purpose built school for children with autism.

Frank O'Brien, 64yrs old, handyman at Southampton completed his 9th London Marathon in just over 4 hours and raised £1480 for the Prader Willie Foundation, a very small charity which supports children with this little known about syndrome.

Business for Custom Lunches has prospered to such an extent - from small beginnings working out of a single unit at the centre in 2004 - that the time has come for the catering firm to relocate to bigger premises a short distance away.
