Seagull turns orange after falling into curry

A seagull turned bright orange after falling into a vat of curry. While looking for food, the gull fell into the container of chicken tikka masala from a food factory in Wales. The bird was brought over to the Vale Wildlife Hospital near Tewkesbury. A team of staff worked hard to return the bid to its original plumage. Lucy Kells, a veterinary nurse at the hospital in Worcestershire, said: "He really surprised everyone here - we had never seen anything like it before. "The thing that shocked us the most was the smell. He smelled amazing, he really smelled good." The gull will remain inside the centre for a couple of weeks because it is underweight. The scavenger bird will then be sent to an outdoor aviary centre before returning to the wild.
