Basepoint Chepstow: Pooch Paradise

Do you ever leave your house for a day’s work, feel a pang of guilt as you say goodbye to your dog and just wish that you could take him or her to the office with you? Well, if your office was based at any of our centres that’s exactly what you’d be able to do.
Since learning that our offices are dog friendly, many of our licensees here in Chepstow have arrived at work accompanied by their faithful companions and we absolutely love to see them arrive with tails wagging, eager for another day of being fussed over (the dogs, that is).
Licensee Claire Martin, a Producer/Director for Channel 4’s ‘One Born Every Minute’, from Dragonfly Film & Television Productions brings her dog Frieda in regularly. When asked about the benefits, Claire said “The day I bring Frida in to Basepoint is the highlight of my working week, it's such a welcoming environment and it means I don't have to leave her at home. Frida loves the fuss everyone makes of her here - her tail starts wagging the moment we reach the car park!”
Heidi Perry, also with Dragonfly, often brings her little terrier Lulu in to see us too. She said “Lulu loves coming to Basepoint. She always runs in wagging her tail. It's just great to be able to bring her in, as it's much nicer for her than being left at home. Our edit suites are small with two people in each room, and it's lovely to have a dog for extra company!”
As well as Frieda and Lulu, we are also regularly visited by Daisy, who accompanies Phillip Winterborne from Serendipity Consulting Ltd, Charlie who comes in with Adam Coates from Dragonfly and another Daisy who graces us with her presence most days with her owner Jamie Packer of Somnium Technologies.
The addition of ‘man’s best friend’ really does make for a lovely working environment and they are a great talking point, bringing together Basepoint staff and licensees alike, petting pooches and sharing doggie anecdotes. In fact, the sight of so many loveable pets in our building prompted the picture that accompanies this story. It was sent to us by another licensee, Caroline Bounds or WeBuyAnyCar.com and features her four-legged friends, Chester and Monty, who I think we can all agree are very handsome looking chaps.
