An extravaganza of music and arts

Chepstow

6th June marks a very special day for the Monmouthshire town of Shirenewton – ShireFest 2015! Basepoint Chepstow Licensee Tim King of TJJ Ltd Chairs the committee that are running the event again this year, which promises to be an extravaganza of music and arts, all in aid of charity.

This year ShireFest, which is held at the Huntsman Hotel, is supporting the Noah's Ark Children's Hospital and, for the first time, Little Hearts Matter.

Featuring local talent, the aim as always is to have a great time whilst raising money for these good causes. Music will be performed on two separate stages and with the styles ranging from soul to samba and rock to rhythm and blues there's something for everyone.

There's the loud stage outside in the car park and some quieter acoustic music in the bar area. There are various children's activities including learning circus skills, a trampoline and an evening children's cinema. There's transport being laid on and free car parking provided.

All this, and it's affordable: Tickets are just £10 and kids 16 and under are free.
