New Licensee Provides Excellent & affordable psychological care

Basepoint Chepstow are delighted to welcome new Licensee Desideratum Psychological & Counselling Services Ltd (DPCS), who have set up a new practice at the centre.
DPCS was founded by Dr. Maria Thompson. The aim of the service is to provide excellent and affordable psychological care for adults and older adults within the South West and Gwent, South Wales.
DPCS currently offers Individual Therapy, Couples Therapy, Group Work, Telephone Counselling, Elderly Outreach Counselling Psychology Service, Clinical & Research Supervision and Teaching/Lecturing.
Dr. Thompson has over 17 years’ experience of working therapeutically with individuals, couples and groups. The approaches she utilises are tailored to the specific needs of each client. She tends to adopt an integrative approach which works with the person in a holistic manner.
We wish Dr. Thompson all the very best with her new Chepstow-based practice and we look forward to working alongside her, to support her work.
