Basepoint supported our local charity by running the Tombola for the second year running. We had some huge support with many visitors to the stand who won some lovely prizes. We raised £163.55 for the tombola.
A photo captured early this morning when it was very frosty and a low eerie mist hovered around the beautiful Canterbury Cathedral. It made for a stunning photo!
Canterbury's nominated charity Cobbes Meadow Riding for the Disabled were presented with an award for the most innovative idea in 2016. Sam Smedley, who is a volunteer on Fridays, has designed and built a set of steps to help drivers get into the carriages safely. Sam was presented with his award at the RDA Gala Dinner, in London, by Claire Balding.
