30th September 2010: Today, Basepoint Developments and the South East England Development Agency (SEEDA) hosted a ‘ground breaking ceremony’ for The Base, a 30,000 sq ft landmark office building located on the site of the former Unwins depot in Victoria Road, Dartford.
Recent figures published by the Bank of England show that net bank lending has fallen by more than £50 billion in the past year and small businesses are the most affected. The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) says many small businesses are unable to borrow from banks, because their lending criteria are too restrictive.
As part of their National “Join Us & Grow” campaign, Basepoint Business Centres invited pupils to participate in a Colouring competition. 7 schools participated locally, and the Area winner was chosen to be Harry Breckon, aged 6, from Parley First School, who is the proud winner of an Art Set.

Basepoint Business Centre Crawley hosted a Coffee Morning on Friday 24th of September as part of the World’s Biggest Coffee morning raising nearly £200 for Macmillan Cancer Support.
