Travelling Trends hosted a fashion show for local bargain hunters at Basepoint Newhaven on Thursday 25th October, where they raised a total of £439 for Basepoint’s chosen charity, FitzRoy Newhaven – a charity which offers residential, respite care, and day care services for adults with physical and learning disabilities.
The Basepoint operated Gosport Business Centre is delighted to announce that it received a bronze in this year’s ‘Gosport & Lee-on-Solent in Bloom’ competition in the ‘Business Initiative in the Community’ category.
Basepoint Business Centres across Kent hosted their first ‘Regional Networking Hub’ on Tuesday 9th October. The networking event was free to all SMEs in the region, giving them a chance to benefit from this wildly successful format.
Andrew Weston, centre manager of the Basepoint operated Gosport Business Centre, recently presented two cheques for almost £1,800 to the Gosport and District Sports Association for the Disabled (GADSAD).
The aim of GADSAD is to provide social and sporting activities to the disabled in the local area. The charity provides their members with the opportunity to socialise with others in similar situations and participate in a wide variety of sports and games.
