SMEs in Newhaven recently attended the Newhaven Enterprise Centre’s free Networking Hub for an insightful talk on the influence of marketing, and how it can control consumer choice and challenge people’s perceptions.
Basepoint Winchester recently presented a cheque for £5318.00 to Winchester Young Carers.
This total was raised through a Disco Inferno event and a lecture on ‘Letters from the Crimea’.
Ben Hogbin, Manager of Winchester Young Carers charity, comments on the Disco Inferno:
“ our successful black tie and dinner/dance was attended by around 80 people who wore different wigs and masks – an enjoyable night was had by all!”
The Old Rectory Business Centre in Northfleet, Kent, is delighted to announce that it presented its charity, Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services (ADSS), with a cheque for £1,247 on Monday 22nd April.
With a good mix of licencees and visitors, delegates listened intently to Jim Gilhooley of MorlanGil HR who offered simple straightforward practical advice on the best procedures for recruiting and releasing staff; a subject of interest to companies of all shapes and sizes .
Basepoint Swindon recently presented a cheque for £3040.56 to The MS Therapy Centre, its chosen charity. In acknowledgement of Basepoint’s support, the charity will be unveiling a plaque renaming their coffee area the Basepoint Lounge.
